Eucalyptus Gym Spray & Towel

My sinuses clear at the mere mention of Eucalyptus, it’s the perfect workout partner and completely at home in any gym bag!  This simple recipe can save you from some nasty bugs that lurk on equipment, in the shower and believe it or not, on the provided workout towels you pick up on your way in…bleck!  It’s safe to spray on your skin, clean equipment but best of all, breathe in and revive your spirit!

One very important reason that many people use Eucalyptus essential oil is that it creates a cooling and refreshing effect. Normally, people suffering from certain conditions and disorders are slightly sluggish. Eucalyptus is a stimulant that removes exhaustion and mental sluggishness and rejuvenates the spirits of the sick. It can also be effective in the treatment of stress and mental disorders.  Just think what it could do for you at the gym after a long day at the office or with the kids.  Keep several clean towels that you’ve laundered at home in your gym bag, along with a spray bottle of Gym Spray with Eucalyptus and kick it at the gym with your new little helper!

Right before my workout, I spray one of my own workout towels (get in the habit of bringing your own, read this if you need convincing!)  until barely damp and keep it with me while I workout.  It’s an invigorating sweat mop and, an amazing way to open your lungs just by putting it up to your nose and inhaling.  If you feel slightly asthmatic, grab your spray and a clean towel and inhale.  If you like to shower at the gym, use your Gym Spray to spritz your flip flops, the bench or locker as well – it’s a great sanitizer too. Here’s to an awesome workout, breathe deep and be well!

My son has allergies , will the Eucalyptus oil sprayed on a towel and left near his head while he sleeps would help him in the mornings to breath better?

Jane, the LLP Allergy Blend from Spark Naturals would be a great choice for your son as it’s a natural antihistamine. My grandson who’s 4 has a roller bottle of the blend that he rolls on the bottom of his feet as needed for his allergies, it helps him so much. You can also diffuse it :)
