Overnite Vaginal Yeast Infection Relief

Simple, cooling, anti-microbial, healthy and a life saver when you're plagued with a vaginal yeast infection. Make an easy coconut insert to urn off the heat and go after candida with a blend of nature's secret weapons, coconut oil, lavender and melaleuca (tea tree). Coconut oil helps fight candida in your gut and, externally from vaginal infections to athlete's foot. Always keep this treasure chest of remedies in your home, it's probably the most versatile supplement you can have on hand and, it's complete genius paired with therapeutic essential oils because the coconut oil is the carrier base that will protect and nourish sensitive tissue providing the benefits of essential fatty acids (lauric, caprylic, capric) and more.

Lavender combined with Melaleuca is a powerful anti-microbial blend that's cooling, purifying and skin friendly when combined with nutrient rich coconut oil. I use this protocol overnite to avoid the pull of gravity but you can certainly use the protocol during the day too. It may get a little messy but a thin pad with an adhesive back helps with any liquified coconut oil that may sneak out. This recipe makes two inserts to keep all ingredients fresh! Increase your measurement if needed.

Directions
  1. Warm the coconut oil in a small shot glass to liquid state. Setting the glass on a plate in a warm oven is enough heat (liquifies at 72 degrees and above).
  2. Once melted, add the essential oils and stir. Set the glass in the refrigerator to cool and solidify. Once solid, cut in half with a knife and continue to store in the refrigerator in a dark, airtight container preferably. Use them soon to avoid oxidation.
  3. Insert one half as you would a tampon right before going to bed, so soothing!
