Make it & Take it! Grill Gear Scrub for Dad

With Father's Day fast approaching I wanted to share a quick and easy project for the griller and mess makers among us.  My guy put Grill Gear Scrub to the test and loved it, he compared it to the old school hand cleaner, Lava soap.  This is a gritty cleanse with lemony suds to cut through grease and grime on the grill, dishes or even hands.  It's very comparable to a commercially sold soft scrub but with all natural ingredients of course! Ladies, we know how to get grimy and dirty too so make an extra jar and keep it under the kitchen sink or on the workbench, it's a wonder on greasy pans and oily hands! Bonus! Clean the kitchen sink with it after the pots, pans, grills and marshmallow roasters are scrubbed clean!

....for grills, dishes and hands!
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup baking soda
  • 1/4 cup dishwashing liquid
  • 40 drops lemon essential oil
  • 1/2 pint jam jar glass or plastic
Instructions
  1. In a separate bowl, add coarse kosher salt, baking soda, dishwashing liquid and lemon essential oil, blend with a spoon and pour into a glass or plastic jam jar.
  2. Note: this is not a moisturizing scrub ~ follow with CW All Purpose Healing Salve to keep your hands soft AND clean!

Gather up the kiddos and let them make their own special gift for Dad or Gramps, it's really that easy!  Of course, feel free to change up the essential oils to any grease cutting citrus combination, have fun with it!
