What Do Sea Salt, Vodka, Milk and Essential Oils Have In Common?

Essential oil users make stuff!  We make room sprays to really freshen our space, not just mask odors.  We make bug repellents and we make body sprays!  If you fit this profile too and have been wondering how to get oil and water (or alcohol-free witch hazel) to mix, wonder no more! Usually, but dependent on the size of your spray and spritzes, one teaspoon of a natural sea salt or Himalayan Salt, or vodka (the cheap stuff please) is all you need to get the ingredients to blend.  You can play with this a little, it's not science by any means.

Here's an informative tidbit, Vodka sweetens the scent of your blend.  A natural salt is a great option if you don't have Vodka but keep it natural, you don't want the questionable stuff from plain old table salt in your air.  And lastly, milk, save this emulsifier for the bathtub.  One cup of milk (raw is better) is lovely with 3 drops of Lavender and one cup of oatmeal for an emulsified, moisturizing, anti-itch soak! The End!
