Lemon - Citrus limon essential oil is tangy and pure sunshine. Lemon is a great alternative for people sensitive to strong aromas like Melaleuca standing on it's own merit as an anti-fungal. Lemon essential oil is a gentle detoxifier, germicide, and astringent, and brilliantly diffused in a busy kitchen especially when there're guests and seafood is on the menu. While we're in the kitchen, don't forget to add 4 drops to a dishcloth before doing the dishes by hand, to sanitize but more than that it's a treat for the senses!
Lemon essential oil is a gentler option as a natural wart removal protocol for children. It may a little longer than widely used Oregano oil but it's much safer for kids, you won't have to worry about applying a hot essential oil like Oregano on their tender skin. Just remember Lemon is naturally photosensitive, sunburn would be an issue after a topical application.
Call me a Lemon snob but I prefer the crisp fragrance and power of the Italian variety.
